- AT OUR MISSOULA, MT FACILITY - This course introduces users who are proficient with AutoCAD’s 2D commands to the concepts and methods of 3D modeling. The course gives a thorough grounding in 3D fundamentals and explores the updated features of AutoCAD’s advanced 3D workspace including using the Ribbon and Menu Browser.
Students MUST have solid, working knowledge of 2D drawing procedures using AutoCAD. Students MUST also be very comfortable in the Windows Operating System environment. Assessment Test may be required.

3D viewing techniques Working with simple and composite solids Creating complex solids and surfaces Modifying objects in 3D space Editing solids Creating sections, camera perspectives, and animations Converting 3D objects Setting up a rendering with materials and lights Creating 2D drawings from 3D models Working with a User Coordinate System This comprehensive course covers the basic skills required to create 3D Solids and basic 3D Models and Renderings using AutoCAD.
